What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files which a server on the Internet saves on your local PC in a special folder. They can manage, for example, a basket or count how often you visited a website.
Facts:
- Cookies can be saved in only one folder and only in a text based format. Thus, cookies are not a danger for the security of your data on the hard disk.
- Only the website which has set the Cookie can read it.
- Cookies can be annoying because there are some companies who joined and now control the cookies together. Therefore, they are able to determine where you surf on the Internet.
- Cookies can be really annoying if you fill your personal data into a form on such a company's website. Then, they do not know only where you server but also who you are.
- Therefore, it is recommended that you normally de-activate cookies in your browser and activate them only when you are on the website of a company you trust. Be very careful when filling out forms with activated cookies!

- You can access non-public information and data.
- You are able to login to your personal account.
- Your personal data will be automatically filled in to forms (after you logged in).
